History
Nevermore, a continent separate from the others of Earth, was not always called what is is today. Its original name has been lost over the generations, though its history has not. It has always been a home for all "mythical" beings. Once a person sets foot on the continent, they are not allowed to return to the rest of the planet. This is in order to keep the secret that such fantastic creatures are real.

Long ago, when the continent was not colonized, four beings took claim on land. Aqua the kappa on the north; Ignis the phoenix on the center; Terra the kitsune on most of the south; Aeris the harpy on the southwest. The four countries grew over time and lived in peace. However, the four leaders eventually began feuding. It did not take much for an all-out war to begin. Much blood was spilled, and many lives were lost.

As things go, the war was eventually settled. The four leaders, whose lands were named after them, made a pact of peace. The continent was renamed Nevermore to remind all that the nations would never fight again. Since then, thousands of years have passed in serenity. But is everlasting peace too much to ask for?
